Junpei has a strong sense of justice. He can behave rather hot-headedly if he sees someone doing something wrong, such as when he fought the bullies who killed the rabbit hutch on his own.

Dakota is a kind girl who will debate things that seem off with "if"s and "but"s. She hopes the world can someday be at peace. Although she means well, Dakota will do anything to achieve her goals. She doesn't believe in sacrificing others, choosing to die instead of someone else whenever her plans call for it.

"Jumpy" and "Kota" are the names these childhood friends gave to each other. Dakota didn't have many friends in their childhood, so Junpei befriended her and promised to protect her. Nine years later, Junpei and Dakota meet again on a sinking ship.

I relate to Akane so much that I replace her in this yumeship, but I won't go through the entire series to describe our lore in heavy detail (yet).
